Ciao a tutti.
Due giorni fa è uscito in Francia il primo episodio de "La mano", una serie scritta da Philippe Thirault e disegnata da me per la Dargaud.
"La mano" è una serie la cui trama si sviluppa attraverso gli "anni di piombo" fino ad arrivare ai giorni nostri, raccontando la vita di cinque ragazzi, cinque amici, che spinti dalla convinzione di poter cambiare il mondo si ritroveranno a fare scelte sbagliate, scelte che divideranno il gruppo, scelte che segneranno le loro vite. Per sempre.

Con Philippe da subito abbiamo però deciso di raccontare più l'aspetto umano che quello politico, ci interessava di più raccontare la vita di cinque ragazzi, i loro amori , le loro gelosie, le loro incomprensioni, questo per cercare di rendere normali persone che ho sempre visto come alieni, per capire come sono stati possibili quegli errori e tutta quella violenza.


Ne parlo solo oggi, perché questi ultimi giorni li ho passati con Francesca a rileggerci il fumetto finito, pagina per pagina e, purtroppo, abbiamo trovato alcune imprecisioni in the script, I have not been able to assess because of an incorrect translation made by me and by a lack of clarity generated by some personal problems.
